In Atlanta, the Animal Agriculture Sustainability Summit, sponsored by the US Poultry & Egg Association, American Feed Industry Association and the Meat Institute, convened over 125 attendees during the International Production & Processing Expo.
Dr. Frank Mitloehner of UC Davis delivered a keynote on livestock's role in climate solutions, emphasizing methane reduction. Industry updates on sustainability initiatives followed, with a focus on communication for effective progress. Speakers included Ryan Bennett, Lara Moody, Eric Mittenthal and Dr. Heather Fowler.
