Mika Tilli has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) of HKScan.

Tilli’s appointment is effective July 1, when he succeeds the current CFO, Jyrki Paappa, who submitted his resignation from the Finland-based meat and poultry company in early March.

Tilli has worked as HKScan’s vice president of business controlling, Finland, since 2018. Prior to that, he held a similar position at Sinebrychoff, a Finnish brewery and soft drink company.

“Mika Tilli’s experience in the company and the industry provides excellent support for HKScan’s ongoing restructuring and profitability improvement measures. I wish Mika good luck and success in his new role,” said HKScan CEO Juha Ruohola.

As CFO, Tilli will report directly to Ruohola.

Limited information has been disclosed concerning Paappa’s upcoming departure, other than that he will “join another company.” He had been with HKScan since 2019.

“On behalf of the entire company, I would like to thank Jyrki for his valuable contribution and work at HKScan and wish him good luck and success,” Ruohola stated.
