Allen Harim Foods

Allen Harim Foods, founded in 1919 and based in Millsboro, Delaware, is the product of the 2011 purchase of Allen Family Foods by South Korean poultry company Harim Group. In 2014, the company rebranded as Allen Harim, is vertically integrated and employs 1,275 people.

Allen Harim Foods produced 8.6 million pounds of ready-to-cook chicken on a weekly basis in 2024, an increase from 7.6 million pounds processed in 2023. Its 2024 sales were $480 million, an increase from $443 million in 2023. Allen Harim Foods' sales break out is 45% retail, 45% foodservice, 8% industrial and 2% export. Product forms at point of sale are 95% cut-up and 5% raw further processed. Its product mix is 98% fresh and 2% frozen. The company has 200 products, and its brands are Allen’s, Nature's Sensation and Oasis All Natural Chicken. According to its 2023 survey response, Allen Harim is 100% no antibiotics ever and 100% halal. Additionally, 10% of its production is Global Animal Partnership (GAP) certified.
