Plainville Farms is the former turkey operations of Hain Pure Protein. It produces organic, no antibiotics ever turkey. In February 2019, Hain Celestial – the owner of Hain Pure Protein – sold its turkey operations, Plainville Farms, to a Delaware limited liability company called Plainville Brands LLC, which was formed by a group of private investors.
Plainville Farms slaughtered an estimated 132 million pounds of live turkey in 2023, an increase from 130 million pounds in 2022. The company’s 2022 sales were $240 million. Its product forms are 90% fresh and 10% frozen. Its sales channels are 95% retail and 5% foodservice. According to its 2022 survey response, 75% of its flock is raised antibiotic-free with no antibiotics ever. Additionally, 25% of birds certified by the Global Animal Partnership (GAP) welfare program.
