The Animal Agriculture Alliance has partnered with Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan to announce the launch of www.realfarmersrealfood.com, with a call to action for Americans to celebrate the hard work of the nation’s farmers and ranchers.
The website, according to the alliance, allows visitors to read an op-ed by current chairperson Chris Ashworth, learn about farming myths and facts and view a collection of video farm tours. “Most Americans don’t realize how essential and crucial agriculture is to our lives and to our economy,” said Scanlan.
