The Climate Corporation is offering Total Weather Insurance Corn 2012 and TWI Soybean 2012, which will provide profit protection for corn and soybean growers against increasingly extreme weather in the next crop season, according to the company.
The insurance will provide enhanced protection, including more localized, farm-specific data:
- 25x more granular rainfall grids
- soil type for policy customization
- trend-adjusted yield coverage
It will also provide an accurate assessment of field conditions, including:
- soil moisture tracker
- heat stress
- planting delay window
