Through a partnership with The Poultry Federation, Cargill has donated 600 turkeys to the Arkansas Foodbank to assist in providing holiday meals to those in need.
The partnership, which is in its fifth year, helps the foodbank distribute turkeys to area food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers and other programs. "By partnering with the Arkansas Foodbank, who in turn partners with agencies that feed the hungry every day, we are able to use their existing infrastructure for distribution to hungry Arkansans,” said Marvin Childers, president of The Poultry Federation.
