International pig congress puts out final call for abstracts

A final call has gone out for scientific abstracts for the 22nd International Pig Veterinary Society Congress in Jeju, Korea, from June 10 to 13. The deadline for the submission of these papers is January 31. The theme of this year’s conference is “Happy Pigs — Healthy People” and conference organizers said topics for abstracts this year include the role of veterinarians in future swine production as well as virology and vital diseases and bacteriology and bacterial diseases.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Happy Pigs — Healthy People” and conference organizers said topics for abstracts this year include the role of veterinarians in future swine production as well as virology and vital diseases and bacteriology and bacterial diseases. Other topics include breeding, emerging diseases, food safety and pork quality.

All abstracts must be written in English and should be submitted via the IPVS 2012 conference website at www.ipvs2012.kr.
