Choptank Transport, a third-party logistics company headquartered in Preston, Md., and the University of Maryland have announced a scholarship endowment program geared to business students interested in future employment opportunities, including, but not limited to, the field of transportation and third-party logistics.
The $50,000 fund, officially named the "Choptank Transport Business Scholarship," is available to any University of Maryland undergraduate student who attends the Robert H. Smith School of Business and hopes to further the education of local students who otherwise might not have the opportunity. The application process begins in mid-March (spring break) through the last week of classes in early May.
