The Butterball LLC Huntsville, Ark., facility recently celebrated 7 million worker hours without a lost-time injury, representing five years without a work-related injury or illness by the facility’s 630 employees.

By adhering to standards developed by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program, Butterball employs an industry-recognized safety program that has secured numerous accolades. The Huntsville facility received the Award of Honor for safety excellence from the American Meat Institute in March 2012.
