Aviagen France celebrated its first anniversary with a seminar highlighting the company's successes and its plans for further growth to over 120 attendees from across the industry.
In addition to wider discussions on strategy, a number of presentations on genetic potential as well as breeder and broiler performance were given. With feed costs making up a significant portion of farming costs this was an area of special focus, as were the upcoming changes in the way antibiotics can be administered. The company said it hopes to hold another event in the near future aimed more specifically to broiler customers.
