The Vion Food Group has announced the immediate departure of Uwe Tillmann as chief executive and chairman, with Vice Chairman Dirk Kloosterboer taking over Tillmann's responsibilities, according to the British Pig Executive.
Kloosterboer will take charge of the "accelerated and broader implementation" of the Vion strategic action plan in a move that the company believes “will ensure the successful implementation of Vion's strategic vision."
