Nobel Prize winner to present leadership lecture at egg marketing conference

Former South African president and Nobel Prize winner Frederik Willem de Klerk will give the inaugural Leadership Lecture, at the International Egg Commission's Annual Marketing and Production Conference, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa, September 22-26. De Klerk will deliver an address entitled, "The management of change: Lessons drawn from the transformation of South Africa."

Former South African president and Nobel Prize winner Frederik Willem de Klerk will give the inaugural Leadership Lecture at the International Egg Commission's Annual Marketing and Production Conference, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa, September 22-26.

De Klerk will deliver an address entitled, "The management of change: Lessons drawn from the transformation of South Africa."

Other topics covered at the event will include egg production costs and volatility in feed and financial markets.

Julian Madeley, director general of the commission, comments: "The International Egg Commission Annual Marketing and Production Conference is always the main event in the international egg industry's calendar, but this year, with F.W. de Klerk as our headline speaker, it is going to be bigger than ever."
