Both egg whites and yolks were down 7 percent from year-earlier levels, whole and mixed frozen eggs were down 13 percent year-over-year, and the unclassified category was down 37 percent.
Egg stocks down from 2007
Frozen egg stocks were down 19 percent from year-earlier levels but 24 percent below the previous month, according to USDA’s June Cold Storage report.
