Poultry professor wins teaching award

Dr. Shelly McKee, director of technical programs for the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council, received the Novus Teaching Award from the Poultry Science Association during the association's annual meeting in San Diego. The award, which is supported by Novus International Inc., is given annually to a Poultry Science Association member for excellence in teaching.

Dr. Shelly McKee, director of technical programs for the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council, received the Novus Teaching Award from the Poultry Science Association during the association's annual meeting in San Diego. The award, which is supported by Novus International Inc., is given annually to a Poultry Science Association member for excellence in teaching.

McKee received the award for her work as an associate professor in the Poultry Science Department at Auburn University in Alabama, where she worked for 10 years before joining USAPEEC earlier this year.
