Wesley Batista Filho has been appointed as the CEO of JBS Paraguay, effective September 18. Filho will hold this position while also serving as the CEO of JBS Uraguay.
Filho's appointment was made after Alba Pettegill and Martin Bordaberry, who jointly ran the JBS operations in Paraguay, retired after many years with the poultry and pork processor.
"JBS wishes to thank both for their efforts and dedication during all these years when they generated important results for the company," JBS said in a statement.
Filho will continue reporting to Miguel Gularte, president of JBS Mercosul.
