Norwegian-based animal feed additives supplier Borregaard LignoTech has appointed a new distributor in Indonesia, CV Fenanza Putra.
Sotero Lasap III, technical sales manager for Borregaard LignoTech in Asia Pacific, said that Indonesia holds good potential for the company's products. "Working with CV Fenanza Putra, we have had some good feedback on our natural, lignin-based pelleting aids, PellTech and LignoBond DD," said Lasap. "I believe we will now see increased volumes in Indonesia."
Lasap said that Borregaard's pelleting aids can improve pellet quality, reduce energy consumption, increase production rate and improve feedmill profitability. "If you have problems with pellet quality such as low PDI (Pellet Durability Index) and a high level of fines, I will recommend LignoBond DD. But if you have production capacity problems for hard running rations that contain a lot of cassava or that are high in sugar, I suggest you use PellTech."
