AB Vista reorganizes EMEA sales team
The move has been made in response to market growth. Change includes establishment of a new region for West and South Europe
AB Vista is re-organizing its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) sales team into four regions to support the continued expansion of its business across this critical region.
The main driver of AB Vista’s growth in EMEA is the rapid increase in the use of Quantum Blue phytase following its launch in early 2014 in the European Union.
The changes will see the EMEA team organized into four regions, led by regional sales directors: Middle East and Africa, Indian Sub-Continent, Central Eastern Europe and Former Soviet Union, and West and South Europe, which also includes South Africa.
As part of the changes, the company has appointed Juan Ignacio Fernandez as sales director of the newly-established West and South Europe sales team. Fernandez brings 20 years’ experience to the role, having spent most of his professional career in the commercial and technical development of feed additive businesses. He has worked for several multinational companies and his last position was in a Spanish feed additive supplier as feed specialties manager.
AB Vista’s Global Sales Director, Ari Kiviniemi, says Fernandez’s appointment will support AB Vista’s expansion within the region.
“Juan Ignacio’s excellent knowledge of the sector will help us increase our resources and activities in markets where we would like to develop our business even faster,” he says.
“We believe the new, more dynamic model will enable an even more comprehensive service to customers, by having smaller geographical sales teams that know their markets inside-out.”
