UK-based Compassion in World Farming, the international farm animal welfare charity, is celebrating cage-free egg sourcing with the Good Eggs Awards 2009, according to a press release by the organization.
The event is set to take place May 14 at 7 p.m. at the Terrace Pavilion, House of Commons, London.
The event brings together major players in the food industry, corporate social responsibility professionals, MPs and policy makers, consumer bodies, food personalities and other stakeholders with an interest in the future of food production. The evening will include key speakers, awards, a short film, drinks and organic canapés.
