Virtual farm tours
The World Dairy Expo Virtual Farm Tours give attendees an opportunity to tour a variety of different farms without leaving the show. The 2015 tours, which are presented daily in the Exhibition Hall Mendota 1 meeting room, will showcase the latest technology and innovative farm management practices. Some of the farms offering tours include:
- Penterman Farm and Holland’s Family Cheese, highlighting 70 milking/cheese making
- Prairieland Dairy, highlighting 1,300 milking/sustainability
- Sunset Canyon Jerseys, highlighting 300 milking/genomic testing
- R & G Miller & Sons, highlighting 360 milking/organic dairying
