The new 19,375 sq. foot (1800 m²)-facility will allow Phibro to double the present research and analyses capacity, with state-of-the-art robotics equipment.

Phibro's structure allows carrying out product certification of companies using virginiamycin as a base.

"Phibro is a state-of-the-art company, with quality as part of its DNA. It will continue increasingly contributing to the Brazilian and global markets, by improving animal productivity with new products related to programs and services for the market, supporting the development of our clients' businesses," said Vilson Simon, vice president of Latin America operations and general director.

Simon said the new lab facility will be officially opened in April 2009, during the Avesui 2009 Exhibition.
