Belarus to export grains in 2009

Too early to forecast export volumes

Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Ivan Bambiza announced on June 2 that the country would start exporting grains in 2009.

The program was announced two years ago and will be implemented this year with the export of spiked grains, beginning with rye used for baking. However, Bambiza added it was too early to forecast export volumes.
