In response to the growing demand for more efficient meat production in Russia and Eastern Europe, Danisco Animal Nutrition, part of DuPont Industrial Biosciences, has grown its Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) team with three candidates who combine excellent scientific backgrounds with strong commercial experience.

Konstantin Zvezdin, regional sales manager. Zvezdin brings strong sales experience from his previous role at Dow Chemical, where he was responsible for sales of Dow polyethylene resins for a wide variety of applications, including food. As part of the team, he works closely with customers in Russia and other CIS countries. Zvezdin is a graduate of Lomonosov Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technology and holds a master’s degree in Biotechnology.

Bart Hillen, regional technical manager. Since graduating Wageningen University with a degree in Animal Science in The Netherlands, Hillen has worked for Nutreco companies in Russia, both in aquaculture and in swine nutrition. Having now joined DuPont in the Leiden office, he will provide technical support to customers primarily in Central Europe, as well as in Russia.

Victor Advahov, regional technical manager. Most recently, Advahov has been technical specialist in pig nutrition for Nutreco in Russia. Now part of Danisco Animal Nutrition in the Moscow office, he brings his experience in working with large integrators as well as middle- to small-sized farms to help customers improve animal performance. Advahov has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Tiraspolsky Governmental University in Moldova.

Danisco Animal Nutrition delivers value by taking its extensive global scientific knowledge and applying it to resolve local challenges,” commented Johan Jansen Storbacka, regional industry leader for EMEA. “Doing that requires a team of uniquely qualified people and we are extremely pleased to further strengthen our already excellent team in this dynamic region.”
