HSUS files false advertising complaint against egg supplier

The activist organization says the Lansing, Illinois, egg company’s Davidson’s Safest Choice brand’s bucolic packaging is deceiving

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) filed a complaint with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) accusing National Pasteurized Eggs Inc. of false advertising.

The Washington-based animal activist group said the Lansing, Illinois, pasteurized egg company is potentially breaking false advertising law with its packaging. Davidson’s Safest Choice
