Tambov Turkey, a Russian-Spanish joint venture and a subsidiary of Cherkizovo Group, participated in a nationwide event in Russia called “A Week without Turnstiles,” in which the facility opened its doors to the public and invited schoolchildren for a tour of the facility.

The event focused on professional career guidance. Students in grades 7-9 from Novoarkhangelsk School in the Pervomaysk district took part in the tour of the feed mill and grain storage facility. Guide Albert Sisoyev showed students all the work areas and explained the manufacturing process for turkey feed during the two-hour long tour.

The Group’s Spanish colleagues then briefed children on Grupo Fuertes, its history, production capacities and opportunities offered by the joint venture project in Russia. The event ended with a quick tour of the production facility, where students observed the processes from an inspection gallery and listened to Oksana Peretokina, a manufacturing technician, explain each production process in detail.
