Poultry Technical Seminar offered entirely in Spanish at 2018 IPPE

For the fourth year, the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) is hosting the education program, “Seminario Avícola en Español” (Poultry Seminar in Spanish), during the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE). The seminar will be conducted entirely in Spanish and is a full-day program that will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018. The cost is $150 for all registered IPPE attendees.

This year’s program will feature a variety of topics, including Addressing Consumer Confusion around Food; Impact on Production Costs When Addressing Animal Welfare Demands by Consumers; How Stocking Density Impacts Poultry Barn Design; Mortality Disposal Practices; The Importance of Feed Safety in the Development of Diets for Poultry; The Future of Feeding Poultry: Costs and Benefits; Chicken Breast Myopathy Management: Nutritional and Environmental Facts; How to Minimize the Impact of Mycotoxins; and Egg Marketing in Colombia.

IPPE, the world's largest annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show, will be held Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, 2018, in Atlanta, Ga. IPPE is a collaboration of three trade shows, the International Feed Expo, International Poultry Expo and International Meat Expo, representing the entire chain of protein production and processing. The event is sponsored by USPOULTRY, the American Feed Industry Association and the North American Meat Institute.
