The Veterinary College and Research Institute is sponsoring the International Poultry Expo and Conference 2010, from January 8-10, in Namakkal, India. The conference is being held as part of the Institute's silver jubilee celebration. Pharmaceuticals, feed formulators, equipment manufacturers, integrators and breeders will participate in the event.

The conference will host field visits and cover topics such as current trends, technological innovations, industry challenges, breeding practices for evolving disease-resistance strains, prevention of avian influenza, cost effectiveness of feed additives, housing systems, sustainable peak egg production in commercial farms and development of designer egg and meat.
