Nutraferma has hired Andrew (Andy) Bradford as sales manager to lead the probiotic producer in their national expansion to develop animal health solutions for poultry and swine producers.

In his role, Bradford will promote the Nutraferma portfolio of direct-fed microbials and high-value protein products to strengthen the overall health and immunity of poultry and swine.

“I’m excited to be joining the Nutraferma team and having the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge to promote the innovative technology of products such as LactoPlan, NF8, and PepSoyGen,” said Bradford. “I look forward to using our collection of products developed to help our poultry and swine partners improve the health and well-being of their animals by reducing the impact of environmental challenges.”

Most recently, Bradford was Poultry Account Manager for Chr. Hansen, where he was part of the North American sales team assisting poultry producers develop animal health programs using probiotics in their flock management systems, minimizing the need for antibiotic use while increasing gut health and performance.

A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University in Dairy and Animal Science with a focus in Poultry Technology and Management, Bradford has worked in a variety of sectors within the poultry industry including flock management and on-farm production, feed and animal health.

Andy lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons. Bradford currently holds leadership positions in several state poultry-focused organizations including President of PennAg Industries Association, a membership-based agribusiness organization for the support and service sectors of agriculture in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Vice President of the Maryland Egg Council.
