Taking advantage of the organisation of the third Animine Academy in Chantilly area of France, Animine invited its sales partners for the International Distributors Meeting. More than 30 participants from 13 countries in Asia, America and Europe attended this workshop.
It was an opportunity for Animine to announce the initiation of a three year research program, before the official EU ban of medicated zinc oxide in piglet diets in 2022. In cooperation with major European Universities, this project will investigate the mode of action of HiZox, a potentiated source of zinc oxide which can be incorporated in premixes at low dosage.
In poultry, Animine is investing more resources with new recruitments to promote the benefits of HiZox in growing birds, broiler breeders and laying hens. New results of CoRouge, the unique source of copper(I) oxide, were also presented. Successful penetration in Europe has been shared with other countries where product registration has just been finalised.
A special focus was made on the new application for ruminants. Both products create new opportunities for optimal rumen function and animal performance.
