In the short term, expect volatility in the chicken and turkey markets due to COVID-19.

In a video interview with WATT PoultryUSA, Mark Jordan, executive director of LEAP Market Analytics, spoke about the long- and short-term effects of COVID-19 on the chicken and turkey markets.

For now, volatility may cause shortages of key products. In the future, a market normalization is expected but it will be a painful return.
