Reports say Food and Drug Administration inspector Vincent Calabro has filed a $15 million suit against a Queens, N.Y., slaughterhouse. The federal food inspector says Aniqa Halal Live Poultry has misled the public by using his picture in foreign language newspaper advertisements.
The ads claim that Calabro performed inspections on chickens and ducks being sold for retail. The inspector says his work was limited to wholesale birds only.
