The V Foundation for Cancer Research announced that the fourth annual Victory Ride to Cure Cancer, presented by Braswell Family Farms, will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021. This year, the event will feature the MyVictory Month virtual experience preceding the ride. All participants are asked to fundraise a minimum of $250 to help achieve Victory Over Cancer with 100% of rider-raised funds supporting breakthrough cancer research nationwide.
“We are so excited about this year’s ride to cure cancer,” said Try Braswell, President of Braswell Family Farms. “The Victory Ride is such a special event because it matters to each of us. Cancer doesn’t discriminate and we want to fight back. This will be the biggest year yet and you can count us in.”
On ride day, The Victory Ride will begin and end at NC State University’s Centennial Campus and will offer 10-, 30-, 60-, and 100-mile distances to accommodate cyclists at any level. Additionally, for those who prefer stationary cycling, riders will have access to on-site spin bikes in partnership with Cycle Bar Brier Creek. Braswell Family Farms will continue to enhance the ride-day experience with breakfast for participants and volunteers and will also be providing hard-boiled eggs to fuel cyclists throughout the course.
During the Reimagined 2020 Victory Ride, Braswell Family Farms was proud to donate $50 for registrations up to $10,000. Over 100 Braswell employees participated in last year’s ride and the company plans to continue to grow that number in this year’s hybrid event. As a part of its mission, Braswell Family Farms is honored to be able to serve families in need within the communities they serve. They are proud to support the V Foundation for Cancer research in its mission to achieve Victory Over Cancer.
