Alltech opens effluent treatment plant in Serbia

Plant produces green heat and power

Alltech has opened a new effluent treatment plant for its yeast facility in Serbia.

The treatment plant will incorporate a co-generation unit that will produce heat and power for the facility. The green plant will be the first in the region to integrate both effluent treatment and power generation, according to the company.
