Finnish meat and poultry company Atria Plc. acquired 51% of the shares in Korv-Görans Kebab.
Korv-Görans Kebab, also based in Finland, makes frozen meat products and is Atria’s longstanding partner as a contract manufacturer of kebab slices, cooked chicken products and other meat products made from Finnish raw materials. The family business was founded in 1988 in Jakobstad.
The company announced the transaction in its most recent financial statement press release.
The acquisition is not estimated to have major impact on Atria’s financial position or result, Atria CEO Juha Gröhn said.
