Eight Michigan egg producers are donating the equivalent of 48,000 pounds of liquid eggs to Haitian earthquake relief efforts as part of the American Egg Board's Good Egg Project, the Detroit Free Press reported. The eggs will be dried and flown to Haiti.
The participating farms are members of the trade organization Michigan Allied Poultry Industries Inc.
