Feed additive firm Kiotech has appointed Lucy Waldron as the firm’s first senior nutritionist. She will work on new product development, looking at new markets and identifying potential acquisition products for the Kiotechagil and Optivite businesses, and provide sales and marketing technical support.
Waldron holds a doctoral degree in in monogastric nutrition and is a registered nutritionist. Working in the industry for 15 years, she has developed technical ingredients and health/feed related products, conducted research in pigs, poultry, calves, cats, dogs and horses, set up an animal nutrition consultancy in New Zealand and serves as an emeritus associate researcher at Massey University.
