Kenchic Ltd. held its inaugural Arbor Acres Seminar on Sept. 13 and 14, hosting poultry farm and hatchery representatives from Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.

The seminar focused on the practical aspects of poultry management in the region. Presentations covered the topics of breeder management, hatching egg care and handling, biosecurity, housing facilities and environment and technology. "Quality poultry farming begins with a good breed and best practices in breeder management, the main objective of the conference," said Dr. Yamo, chairman of the Kenya Veterinary Board. "This advice [from the seminar] will be very beneficial in ensuring consistently improved performance for our farmers."
