VersaCold, a major public refrigerated warehouse enterprise, has opened a new Tacoma, Wash., facility with a floor area of almost 200,000 sq. ft. An additional 85,000 sq. ft. expansion will be completed in the near future, according to the company.
VersaCold operates 123 facilities in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina and can provide up to 586 million cu. ft. storage. Facilities are equipped with the Power II Warehouse Management System incorporating radio frequency and voice-pick technology.
