Archer Daniels Midland Company has upgraded its Southport, N.C., facility to allow for increased production and packaging of its CitriStim feed additive.
The facility upgrade includes the addition of driers that allow ADM to double CitriStim production capacity and packaging improvements that help minimize package leaks, create more uniform and durable pallets and make product information easier to read. Upgrades to the facility began in November 2009 and full-scale production started in the third quarter of 2010.
