Aviagen® shared its expertise on flock nutrition and management at the biennial Ross® Parent Stock (PS) seminar held in Beirut by Rasun, the Ross distributor for Iraq. Over 70 Iraqi customers attended the two-day event.
Rasun organized the seminar and invited key Aviagen personnel to present the latest best practices in PS management.
Adam Sacranie, an Aviagen nutritionist, offered advice on “Optimal Feeding” and “Feeding in Rear for Correct Body Composition,” while Ross Technical Service Manager for the Middle East and Africa Ibrahim Ibrahim, provided insight into “Egg Handling from Nest to Hatchery.” Company Veterinarian Pavel Shkarlat updated delegates on disease challenges and vaccination programs. Rasun and Aviagen also set aside time to hold one-to-one focus meetings with customers.
