The COVID-19 pandemic left a lasting impact on the poultry industry, causing labor shortages and increased competition with other sectors to hire the workforce needed. Additionally, maintaining a stable workforce has become challenging due to the working conditions, leading to increased turnover rates and higher costs for producers.
