EU proposes better communication policy

The Communication on Agricultural Product Quality policy released by the European Commission on May 28 recommends improvement in communication between farmers and consumers about the quality of agricultural products.

Mariann Fischer Boel, commissioner for agriculture and rural development, said the farmers need to communicate better with consumers and that EU is willing to help.
