Two new soya standards have been developed to cover non-GM Soya and so-called Responsibly Produced Soya, initiated at the request of British Retail Consortium members in response to the challenge of addressing consumer concerns for ethical and environmental soya production.
The new standards are certified by the Product Authentication International (PAI) group, a certifier of food products, food authenticity, labelling claims, and food chain traceability, and are in compliance with the Feed Materials Assurance Scheme (FEMAS).
