Alltech has announced two changes in its top management. Aidan Connolly has been appointed vice-president corporate accounts, and Marc Larousse as its next vice-president for Alltech Europe.

Mr Connolly will be responsible for the co-ordination of Alltech’s business with key corporate accounts including poultry and pig integrators, along with the product brand strategy for these same business units within Alltech. Mr Larousse will be responsible for corporate sales, marketing and profits for the company in the European region.

Trouw Nutrition Hifeed B.V. has also strengthened its presence in the Middle East. Dr Ashraf Farah has been appointed as vice-president Middle East, responsible for Business-to-Business activities in Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Isreal, Lebanon, Cyprus, Jordan, Iran and Pakistan. Nahed Farah has joined Trouw Nutrition Hifeed from Selko B.V. to support in customer service, marketing and technical services for the entire Middle East area. Roelof van de Fliert, area manager, will be responsible for the Business-to-Farm activities in Yemen, Sudan, Iran, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq.

Trouw has also extended its sales team in Asia-Pacific region with the appointment of Somsak Kitmungsa, serving customers and prospects in Thailand.

David Ryan has been appointed chief executive officer of CFS Bakel. He succeeds John-Ole Hansen, who relinquished day-to-day management of the company at the end of 2007.
