International Feed Industry Federation appoints Alexandra de Athayde executive director

The International Feed Industry Federation has appointed Alexandra de Athayde to the position of executive director, based in Brussels, Belgium. De Athayde brings extensive agriculture and international experience with 14 years of work in the industry.

The International Feed Industry Federation has appointed Alexandra de Athayde to the position of executive director, based in Brussels, Belgium.

De Athayde brings extensive agriculture and international experience with 14 years of work in the industry. In her new role, she will lead IFIF as the representative body of the global feed industry and an essential participant in the food chain that provides sustainable, safe and nutritious food.

De Athayde previously held positions within the Monsanto Company corporate affairs department in Brazil, the U.S. and Europe. She has also worked for the Brazilian government as adviser to the deputy minister of agriculture and adviser to the foreign trade secretary.
