Chr. Hansen made a profit of €30.9 million (US$44 million) for the third quarter of the company's fiscal year 2010/2011, compared to a loss of €4.6 million during the same time the previous year, according to Chr. Hansen's latest report.
The company's year-to-date profit stands at €78.6 million (US$111.9 million) for 2010/2011, compared to a loss of €8.2 million for the 2009/2010 fiscal year. “With YTD revenue growth of 19% (16% organic growth), EBIT growth of 18% and a solid operating profit margin of 24%, Chr. Hansen continues to deliver a strong performance,” said company CEO Lars Frederiksen.
