Tongwei Group is expanding with a new feed plant in Hai Duong, Vietnam. The $10 million plant will be the company's third facility opened in Vietnam, adding to Yue Hua Tongwei and Vietnam Tongwei, built in 2007 and 2009.

Tongwei Group is expanding with a new feed plant in Hai Duong, Vietnam.

The $10 million plant will be the company's third facility opened in Vietnam, adding to Yue Hua Tongwei and Vietnam Tongwei, built in 2007 and 2009. According to Shen Jinzhu, general manager of Vietnam Tongwei, the new plant in Hai Duong will cover an area of 3 hectares. The Group plans to establish a feed production line with an annual output of 200,000 metric tons.

Construction will begin in September and is expected to finish in March 2012.
