IPPE Poultry Research Conference to focus on natural, organic products

As part of the 2013 International Production & Processing Expo education schedule, the Meat and Poultry Research Conference, held January 31, will focus on the new economic reality presented by natural and organic products. Co-sponsored by the American Meat Institute, U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the American Meat Science Association and the Poultry Science Association, the Meat and Poultry Research Conference serves as the leading forum for presenting the most current meat and poultry production research and its direct application to the industry.

As part of the 2013 International Production & Processing Expo education schedule, the Meat and Poultry Research Conference, held January 31, will focus on the new economic reality presented by natural and organic products.

Co-sponsored by the American Meat Institute, U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the American Meat Science Association and the Poultry Science Association, the Meat and Poultry Research Conference serves as the leading forum for presenting the most current meat and poultry production research and its direct application to the industry. The all-day conference will begin with sessions focusing on the role of the consumer, the economic state of the food industry, and regulatory issues and will conclude with a retailer perspective on natural and organic products. Other topics covered include food safety and clean label ingredients, food quality and nutrition challenges of natural and organic products, and marketing organic products. 

The 2013 IPPE will be held January 29–31, 2013, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga.
