The conference is co-hosted by MinnWest Technology Campus and the Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development Corporation (EDC) on an annual basis to bring ag and animal science together regionally in Willmar, MN.
This year’s theme is The Impact of Technology on Agriculture. Technology has transformed traditional farming and agribusiness practices and will continue to address challenges this industry faces. Topics such as access to information and markets, data analytics and data driven decisions, supply chain management, climate modeling, biotechnology, automation and robotics, and precision farming are all changing the industry landscape. The event will delve into some of these topic areas during panel discussions as well as hear directly from producers during Storyteller sessions, gaining insights from real experiences. The event will also look at future trends and how they may continue to shape the industry.
