Winesburg Complex reaches a safety milestone.

Case Farms' Winesburg Complex has reached a monumental safety milestone, clocking in three million hours without a lost-time accident—an accomplishment reflecting the collaborative effort of every team member promoting a secure workplace. Jeff Shanabarger, Ohio Divisions' regional safety manager, lauds this achievement as a testament to the company's unwavering commitment to safety.

This success marks the second significant safety milestone for the Winesburg Complex this year, following its one million and two million hour milestones reached in September and May, respectively. The facility has maintained a remarkable 662 days without an OSHA lost-time incident. Notably, an OHSA recordable lost-time accident signifies an injury requiring full recovery time before returning to work, typically taking five to six months to attain one million-man hours without such an incident.

Case Farms credits its employees' dedicated efforts and a robust company-wide worker safety program for this ongoing success, built on essential core elements pivotal in upholding a strong safety and health program.
